HAIR CARE TIPS
If worn often, wash your hair a minimum of 1-2 times per week. It is recommended that curly/wavy hair “co-wash” (conditioner only) retain moisture.
If the hair has product build-up, use a sulfate and alcohol-free shampoo
-Deep condition the hair using hydrating conditioners and let it sit on the hair overnight. Hydrating oils such as Argan and Kukui oils are desired.
-Be sure to apply conditioner to the lace, especially if the knots have been bleached to lock in moisture and minimalize shedding
-Do not massage the hair
-Rinse thoroughly with cool water
-To detangle curly hair, only do so when wet and saturated with conditioner
-Use your fingers or a wide tooth comb and start from the ends working your way up
-Handle lace pieces with care as rough handling can result in torn lace
-Spray the back of the lace on lace wigs, frontals, and closures with a knot sealer or holding spray after every wash to seal the knots, reduce shedding and extend the life of your lace piece
-For colored units, use color treated shampoo/conditioner
-Prior to using hot tools, seal your hair with a heat protectant serum or spray to minimalize heat damage
-Refresh curls/waves with a water spray bottle if needed
-Brush/comb through hair
-Apply serum for a polished look
-Tie your edges down with a satin scarf to keep them neat
-Use a bonnet to put away the rest of your hair
-For curly hair, we recommend putting the hair into a pineapple and wrap edges with a satin scarf
-For wavy hair, we recommend braiding your hair into one large loose braid and wearing a bonnet
-After waking up, take your hair down and style as needed
Cut your wefts- this causes shedding, and thinning of your hair extensions.
Sew through your wefts- this will cause the construction of your hair weft(s) to weaken, while also causing shedding and thinning of your hair extensions.
Blow dry your hair- always let it air dry; blow drying has the possibility of ruining your hair extensions.
Use box dyes- only use professional consulting for adding any coloring or other chemicals to your extensions.
